“Adelaide Ntim Extends Helping Hand: GH¢60,000 Donation to Support Adum Market Fire Victims”

In a heartwarming display of compassion and responsibility, Hon. Adelaide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim, the Member of Parliament for Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo, has donated GH¢60,000 to support victims of the Adum Blue Light fire disaster in Kumasi. The fire, which ravaged the bustling trading enclave in March 2025, left hundreds of traders, including some from Hon. Ntim’s constituency, devastated and struggling to recover.

Recognizing the severity of the situation, Hon. Ntim presented the cash donation to help the affected traders rebuild their businesses and regain financial stability. During the presentation, she emphasized that the support was her contribution toward alleviating the economic hardship her constituents are facing due to the fire.

“This is not just about politics, but about humanity and responsibility,” Hon. Ntim said, highlighting her commitment to supporting her constituents in times of need. The donation was received on behalf of the affected traders by Mr. Kofi Badu, a native of Nsuta-Kwamang and a leader among the victims, who expressed deep appreciation for the MP’s timely and generous support.

Hon. Ntim’s donation is a significant contribution to the ongoing relief efforts in Kumasi, and it underscores her dedication to serving her constituents.
