Kumawu MP Donates GH₵50,000 for Abotanso School Washroom, Inspects Ongoing Projects

Member of Parliament for Kumawu Constituency, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has donated GH₵50,000 for the commencement of a new washroom facility at Abotanso School. The donation is expected to address sanitation challenges facing pupils and staff in the school.

Announcing the support, Hon. Anim said the intervention forms part of efforts to improve sanitation and create a more conducive learning environment for students in the area. He noted that proper sanitation facilities are key to improving school attendance and academic performance.

As part of his working visit to the constituency, the MP also inspected other ongoing projects. These include the *Bodomase D/A School washroom facility* and the *Bodomase Nurses’ Quarters*, both of which are being undertaken to improve education and health infrastructure in the area.

Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Anim disclosed that funds have been fully allocated for the two projects. “Both projects are set for completion by the end of this month,” he stated, adding that contractors have been tasked to speed up work to meet the deadline.

On healthcare, the MP revealed that work on the Bodwease CHPS Compound is also progressing steadily. According to him, the facility is on course for completion and will be commissioned next month to bring primary healthcare services closer to residents.

Hon. Anim reaffirmed his commitment to delivering critical social infrastructure across Kumawu Constituency. He assured constituents that he will continue to prioritize education and health projects to improve living standards and support community development.
