GHANAIANS ADVISED TO BE PATRIOTIC AND ENSURE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANLINESS
Ghanaians have been advised to keep their environment clean to help reduce the high rate of communicable diseases among the people.
Citizens told that of the communicable diseases like typhoid fever and other water born diseases were cause by poor environmental sanitation, hence, the public to regularly clean their environment.
Prophet Ampofo Akyampong president of Nyankonton Ministry and subsidiary group in Kristo Asafo Missions was addressing media when the church organized clean up exercise to tidy Agogo South Hospital in Kumasi.
He asked Ghanaians to be patriotic and avoid littering around during the exercise the church members desilted chocked gutters, swept the compound and other offices at the facility..
Prophet Ampofo advised the public to get involved in all cleanup exercises in the communities to enhance environmental hygiene, to help reduce the spread of communicable diseases in the country.
Prophet Ampofo Akyampong urged the government particularly the District Assemblies to intensify sanitation by laws to enforce culprits to do the needful to ensure a hygienic environment.
