Ghana’s Reputation Is At Stake: Government Must Act Now

The Ministry of Interior and National Security must immediately investigate all officers stationed at our major exit points. Any Customs, Immigration, or Port official found aiding drug traffickers must be arrested and prosecuted publicly to serve as a strong deterrent to others.
We must minimize human interference at our borders. Government must urgently invest in automated AI scanning systems, surveillance cameras, and biometric verification at all entry and exit points to ensure the system cannot be compromised through bribery.
If these international drug-related arrests are part of a deliberate attempt to tarnish Ghana’s image, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must respond firmly. We demand that foreign partners share intelligence and collaborate with us constructively, rather than publicly shaming Ghana on the global stage.
Ghana is a nation founded on freedom, justice, and integrity. We will not allow our hard-earned global reputation to be destroyed by domestic negligence or external malice. The time for our authorities to act is now.
