Executive Director for National Commission on Culture Tour Ashanti Regional center for National Cultural

Executive Director for National Commission on Culture Nana Otuo Owoahene Acheampong has declare his intentions to fill the vacuum of infrastructure deficits of all the sixteen (16) Regional Arts and Culture Centres.
Nana Otuo Owoahene said our various Arts and National Culture will need an upgrade to service tourist who travel across the globe to witness our Customs and Tradition. “Tourist who troop into Ghana do not come for luxurious hotels because they have better once in their countries. This is the reason why under my supervision plans are underway to fill the gap of infrastructure deficits of the various Regional Arts and Cultural Centres” He said.
According to him the evolvement of well to do Ghanaians in the Arts and Culture business will make it meaningful and fruitful “It is time the business oriented personalities actively involve themselves in Arts and Culture business to create employment and generate income for the benefits of the ordinary Ghanaians and also boost the Ghanian Economy” He lamented.
Nana Otuo further said the Ashanti Regional branch of Arts and Culture is an extension of the Manhyia Palace and should be given the best of infrastructure to serve us a training center for tourism across the globe. “A training center should be establish in the cultural center to Educate and Inform tourist who would want to have an indepth knowledge about the history of Ghana and it’s traditions” He said.
This he told newspointgh.com during his tour to the Ashanti Regional branch of Arts and Cultural Centre where he met management and staffs and reviewed to them his intent for any staff who have ambitions or interest to further his or her Education so that they could grab any promotions when available.
