CIMAF and Justice Dennis Adjei Support Afua Kobi Ampem Girls SHS with Cement and Cash for School Projects

Afua Kobi Ampem Girls Senior High School at Tabuom in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region has received a major boost towards improving its infrastructure, following support from CIMAF Ghana Limited and Justice Sir Dennis Adjei, a Supreme Court judge
The support comes at a time when the school is working hard to complete some important projects aimed at creating more space and a better learning environment for students.
As part of the intervention, CIMAF donated bags of cement to the school to help continue construction works. The cement will be used for ongoing projects, including a storey building that is expected to reduce congestion in classrooms, as well as a summer hut that will provide a place for students to study after school.
Speaking to the media, the Deputy General Manager for Sales and Marketing at CIMAF, Joseph Kobina Aboo, said the company decided to step in after the school management reached out for support.
He explained that CIMAF believes in supporting education and helping communities grow, adding that such contributions are part of the company’s efforts to give back to society.
In addition to the cement donation, Justice Dennis Adjei also made a financial contribution to support the project. The money, although not disclosed, will be used to buy sand to support the construction works.
The combined support from CIMAF and Justice Adjei is expected to help speed up the completion of the projects and improve conditions in the school.
The Headmistress of Afia Kobi Girls SHS, Emelia Ameflu Denutsui, expressed her gratitude to both the company and the judge for their timely support.
She said the donation will go a long way to help the school complete its projects and improve teaching and learning. She also used the opportunity to appeal to other companies and individuals to come on board and support the school.
According to her, more help is still needed to fully complete the projects and provide enough facilities for the growing number of students.
The gesture by CIMAF and Justice Dennis Adjei highlights the important role that corporate bodies and individuals can play in supporting education and helping schools overcome their challenges.
