Baffour Kwadwo Agyei installed Dwatuafourhene in Kumawu traditional council

Baffour Kwadwo Agyei has been installed as the new Dwatuafourhene of Kumawu by Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Koduah, the paramount Chief of Kumawu Traditional Area in the Sekyere Kumawu District of the Ashanti Region.

Nana Baffour Kwadwo Agyei took an oath of the sword as Kumawu Dwatuafourhene on Monday, June 26, 2023.

At a ceremony to swear to Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua at Kumawu Palace, sub-chiefs of the paramount chief took turns to advise him on what was expected of him as the new Dwatuafourhene.

Kumawumanhene counseled him to serve the people with honesty and desist from activities that violate the customs and traditions of the Asante people by working closely with elders in his palace.

He cautioned him not to disrespect the elders and people by being the chief, but rather engage them for wise counsel to be able to provide progressive leadership for the benefit of Kumawuman.

Nana Kwadwo Agyei for his side expressed his gratitude to Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Koduah and pledged to bring unity to Kumawuman.

He further thanked the elders for the honor done him and assured him to serve the people of Kumawu with diligence.
