EKK Charity Foundation, a non-profit organization, marked Mothers’ Day by donating to nursing mothers in five hospitals in the Greater Kumasi area. The foundation, led by CEO Dr. Evans Kofi Kwafo, distributed over 120 hampers filled with essential items such as soaps, detergents, and baby care products to mothers at KNUST Hospital, Kumasi South Hospital, Tafo Hospital, South Suntreso Hospital, and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
Dr. Kwafo emphasized the importance of the foundation’s initiative, stating that it aims to put smiles on the faces of nursing mothers. He encouraged mothers to hold on to their faith in God, regardless of their situation, and promised that more support would be coming their way.
Dr. Kwafo expressed his gratitude to Hon. Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff to former President John Dramani Mahama, for providing financial support to the foundation, enabling them to celebrate Mothers’ Day with the nursing mothers.
The mothers who received the donations expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the EKK Charity Foundation for their kindness and generosity.
