Kennedy Agyapong Predicts NPP’s Return to Power in 2028
Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong, has expressed confidence that the NPP will regain power in 2028. Agyapong made this prediction while speaking at the KNUST- TESCON branch of NPP General Meeting and Freshers Orientation.
He encouraged party members not to be discouraged by their recent defeat but to unite and embark on an aggressive campaign. Agyapong emphasized the need for the party to learn from its mistakes and come back stronger.
He also called for forgiveness among party members and urged them to put past mistakes behind them. Agyapong donated GH¢20,000 to support the admission fees of fresh students and was praised by Dr. Emmanuel Amankwah, a senior lecturer at KNUST and patron of KNUST-TESCON.
Other speakers, including Dr. Amankwah and KNUST TESCON President Godfrey Frimpong, emphasized the importance of unity and support for the party’s growth. They also appealed for voting rights for TESCON members in the party’s internal elections.
