Ashanti NPP Chairman Pledges Strong Media Collaboration

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Odeneho Kwaku Appiah popularly known as COKA, has pledged to run an open and inclusive leadership that embraces the media as a key partner in party rebuilding.
Speaking at a dinner interaction with journalists in Kumasi, COKA said his doors will remain open to the media, stressing the need for continuous engagement and mutual respect.
He described the media as a vital force in deepening democracy and national development, noting that no political party can succeed without a cordial relationship with the press.

According to COKA, the Ashanti Region remains critical to the fortunes of the NPP and the media’s role in projecting the party’s message, defending its record and selling its vision to Ghanaians cannot be underestimated.
“We need you to project us. We are ready to work with you. Our doors are always open for engagements,” he told the gathering.
He further urged journalists to balance accountability with development-focused reporting that highlights issues affecting the Ashanti Region.
The dinner brought together selected journalists from various media houses in Kumasi.
