TIME CONSCIOUSNESS KEY TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: DEPUTY EDUCATION MINISTER

Deputy Education Minister, Professor Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, has stressed the importance of time consciousness among Ghanaians, urging citizens to prioritize punctuality and respect for others’ time. He believes that this habit is crucial for personal and national development, leading to increased productivity and a more respectful society.

During the commissioning ceremony of the Apire-Santasi Kindergarten block in the Kwadaso Municipality, Prof. Nyarko encouraged Ghanaians to make punctuality a habit, emphasizing its benefits for individuals and the nation.

The newly commissioned kindergarten block is the first of its kind in the community, providing a local enrollment option for government school pupils. This will reduce stress and financial pressure on parents, who previously had to travel longer distances to access educational facilities.

Prof. Nyarko urged parents to utilize the new facility and enroll their children, ensuring the school’s rapid growth. He also appealed to authorities to maintain the block and prolong its lifespan. The Minister pledged to continue initiating developmental projects, citing completed projects such as classroom blocks and a police station building.

Mrs. Ofosu Boateng Grace, the Municipal Education Director, expressed gratitude to Prof. Nyarko for his support and appealed for continued assistance to make education the key to development in the municipality. She assured the Minister of ensuring the maintenance of the kindergarten block to promote education in the community.
