Hope Rises at Kokote as Shamor Movement for Change Foundation Launched

Kokote, in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region, was filled with excitement over the weekend following the official launch of the Shamor Movement for Change Foundation, a new initiative dedicated to driving community development and uplifting the vulnerable.
The colorful ceremony attracted a cross-section of society, including Nananom, clergy, business leaders, youth groups and community members, all gathering to support a cause centered on compassion and transformation.
Behind the vision is Apostle Dr. Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese the Nyankyerenease Nkosuohene and CEO of the Shamor Group of Companies who says his motivation is simple: to give back to society and be a vessel of change.
Speaking at the launch, Apostle Dr. Kumanin Barima Kese explained that the Foundation is built on a strong desire to make life better for the less privileged, empower the youth with opportunities, and champion development projects that address real needs on the ground.
“We cannot look on while our people struggle. This Foundation is our commitment to identify community challenges and mobilize the needed support to solve them,” he said.
He called on individuals, corporate bodies, NGOs and all well-meaning Ghanaians to join hands with the Foundation to extend hope to the needy and create sustainable opportunities for the future.
The event was marked by solidarity messages, inspirational speeches and cultural displays, with stakeholders pledging their full support for the Foundation’s mission.
With its official launch, the Shamor Movement for Change Foundation is set to roll out a series of social interventions, youth empowerment programmes and community development projects aimed at transforming lives and promoting lasting change in Offinso South and beyond.
