NEW YEAR, NEW HOPE: LIFE-GIVING FAMILY FOUNDATION BRINGS JOY TO OVER 1000 MARGINALIZED INDIVIDUALS

On January 1st, 2025, the Life-Giving Family Foundation embarked on a mission to spread love, hope, and kindness to over 1000 street children, mentally ill persons, refugees, and needy individuals in the Kumasi Metropolitan area. Led by Mr. Prince Kofi Yeboah, the foundation’s president, the outreach program aimed to provide comfort, relief, and a sense of belonging to those often forgotten during the New Year celebrations.
The foundation’s team, comprising volunteers and staff, distributed prepared meals and essential supplies valued at millions of cedis across multiple locations, including Gee Roundabout, Kejetia, Roman Hill, Alabar, Dr. Mensah, Tinker Base, and Cultural Central. This selfless act of kindness was a testament to the foundation’s commitment to supporting society’s most vulnerable members.
Mr. Prince Kofi Yeboah, who has experienced similar hardships in his past, shared the foundation’s mission and vision. “We want to bring smiles to the faces of the needy, especially street children and the mentally ill,” he said. “Our goal is to make this New Year a little brighter for them, and to remind them that they are not alone.”
The outreach program went beyond just providing food and supplies. Volunteers took the time to interact with the beneficiaries, offering emotional support, words of encouragement, and a sense of hope. The foundation’s goal was to help these marginalized groups feel cared for, valued, and loved, especially during a time when many others were celebrating with their families.
Miss Charity Mensah, the Secretary of the Life-Giving Family Foundation, highlighted the foundation’s strong Christian principles. “This is part of our Christian duty,” she said. “As Jesus Christ taught, we are called to visit the sick, care for those in need, and help the vulnerable. Our mission is to put smiles on their faces and provide them with the support they desperately need.”
The beneficiaries of the foundation’s outreach expressed deep gratitude for the kindness shown to them. Many shared how the support had a profound impact on their lives, and how it had given them hope for a better future. The smiles and appreciation from the individuals were clear reflections of the foundation’s mission to uplift and care for society’s most vulnerable members.
The Life-Giving Family Foundation’s New Year’s Day initiative serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, kindness, and giving back. Through their selfless efforts, the foundation has brought hope and relief to many individuals, and it is evident that their unwavering commitment to helping others will continue to inspire positive change in the community for years to come.
The foundation would like to express special appreciation to all the people who supported this project, including sponsors, patrons, and volunteers. They also thank their friends and family abroad, as well as Miss Jacklin Abrafi Asare, their co-founder, who is currently in the United States, for her unwavering support.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this year’s project a success,” the foundation expressed. “Your support allowed us to make a significant difference in the lives of many. We use this opportunity to invite the general public to become part of our cause. Our foundation is open to new sponsors and partners, and we encourage anyone who wishes to join us to reach out via our social media platforms or by calling 0553086010 / 0596298950.”
