250 Dual Mono Desks Presented To Osei Tutu SHS By MP

The Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Hon. Frank Yeboah, has presented 250 dual mono desks to Osei Tutu Senior High School to help tackle the school’s furniture challenges and improve teaching and learning conditions.

Presenting the desks, Hon. Yeboah said the donation was in direct response to appeals from the school and forms part of his commitment to support educational institutions in the constituency.

“We cannot talk about quality education when students do not have proper places to sit and learn. These desks are to ensure that every student has a comfortable space to study,” he stated.

The 250 desks are expected to reduce pressure on the school’s limited furniture and give more students access to decent seating during classes.

Receiving the items, the Headmaster of Osei Tutu SHS, Very Rev. Bright Yaw Osei, thanked the MP for the timely intervention.

He noted that inadequate furniture has been one of the major challenges facing the school, putting strain on existing resources.

“This donation has come at the right time. It will greatly improve our classroom environment and make teaching and learning more effective, Very Rev. Osei said.

The Headmaster appealed to other individuals, corporate bodies and stakeholders to emulate Hon. Yeboah’s example by supporting the school with more infrastructure and learning materials.

Hon. Yeboah reiterated that, education remains a key pillar of his development agenda for Atwima Nwabiagya North.

He assured that his office will continue to partner with schools and stakeholders to address pressing needs in the constituency.

Students, teachers and the entire school community welcomed the donation and expressed optimism that it will enhance the overall learning experience at Osei Tutu SHS.
