COMMENDATIONS TO THE HONOURABLE MINISTER OF HEALTH – HON. MINTAH AKANDOH

We, the members of the Proforum Health Directorate, extend our heartfelt commendations to you for your recent decision to transfer principals and directors of public health training institutions. This bold and strategic move aligns seamlessly with the reset agenda of H.E the President , aimed at revitalizing and strengthening these critical institutions to build a healthcare system we all want

Feedback from our field coordinators reveals that a significant number of principals and directors welcome this initiative. They anticipate that the infusion of fresh leadership and ideas will enhance managerial efficiency, foster innovation, and ultimately elevate the overall performance of these institutions.

We are, however, aware of efforts by some affected individuals to resist this reform by seeking intervention through influential connections, including Party Executives (at all levels) and Opinion Leaders. In light of this, we urge you to remain resolute and unwavering in your commitment to this transformative initiative.

We offer our unequivocal support for this exercise, recognizing its immense potential to drive positive change, improve the quality of health training, and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of healthcare delivery in our nation.
