Jachie Hene Celebrates 5th Anniversary
The people of Jachie in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region have come together to celebrate a milestone in the reign of their traditional leader, Baffour Kwaku Amoateng IV, Otumfour Kyeame Panin, Jachie Hene . Yesterday marked five years since Baffour ascended to the throne, and the community gathered to commemorate his achievements and dedication to the area.
During his tenure, Jachie Hene has prioritized education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. Some of his notable achievements include:
– Establishing a vocational training center to equip youth with skills in carpentry, masonry, and tailoring
– Collaborating with the government to construct a modern healthcare facility, improving access to quality medical services
– Overseeing the renovation of roads and bridges, enhancing connectivity and commerce
– Supporting agricultural initiatives, leading to increased crop yields and improved livelihoods for farmers

Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has confidently stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership has the capability to make the impossible possible. He emphasized that only the NPP has introduced policies with a direct impact on ordinary citizens, such as:
– National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS)
– School Feeding Program
– National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP)
– Free Senior High School (SHS) education
He criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for opposing these initiatives and now seeking to return to power. Minister Mensah urged the public to reject the NDC and show them the exit, highlighting the NPP’s commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians.
