“Hon. Dr. Maurice Jonas Woode Recognized as Peace Builder and Philanthropist by Crio Bible College”

In a heartfelt ceremony, Bishop Harrison Arko-Amoateng, Founder and CEO of Crio Bible College, presented Hon. Dr. Maurice Jonas Woode, DCE of Adansi Akrofuom, with a citation during their 17th year of ordination and orientation. This annual event marks a significant milestone in the college’s journey, bringing together clergy and community leaders to reflect on their mission and vision. The ceremony featured inspiring speeches, joyful worship, and the recognition of outstanding individuals like Dr. Woode.

This honor acknowledges Dr. Woode’s tireless efforts as a peace builder, hard worker, and philanthropist. Dr. Woode expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am humbled to receive this recognition, which is not my first for peacebuilding endeavors. Four years ago, the Nananom of Akrofuom Hene conferred upon me the title of Akrofuom Hene Peace Builder.”

Bishop Arko-Amoateng emphasized the importance of peace in Ghana’s progress, saying, “Without peace, we cannot move forward as a nation.” He urged all individuals, including politicians, traditional leaders, and citizens, to prioritize peace during and after the upcoming election on December 7th. He also advised the youth to put Ghana’s interests first, reminding them that their actions have a profound impact on the country’s future.

Furthermore, Bishop Arko-Amoateng addressed a critical issue affecting communities, warning churches and businesses against selling harmful substances and items. He emphasized the need for responsible practices, especially regarding medication, and encouraged adherence to FDA regulations.

In the context of the upcoming election, Bishop Arko-Amoateng reminded the audience, “This year’s election is about the ballot box, not the bullet. Let us choose peace and democracy over violence and chaos.”
