YEA IN COLLOBRATION WITH CSIR LAUNCH YOUTH IN BRICK PRODUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMME
Building and Road Research Institute for Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in collaboration with Youth Employment Agency Ghana has launched Youth in Brick Production and Construction Programme.
The programme is to train the youth in bricks manufacturing in building affordable houses in the country.
Chief Executive Officer for Youth Employment Agency Mr.Kofi Baah Agyemang speaking to the media said that, about 250 trainees will benefit from it and 500 cedis will be given to everyone each month.
He also said that, with this, unemployment will be reduce in the country and the government is willing to do everything possible to reduce it.
He then urged the youth to be proud of the NPP government since they are doing everything possible for the youth in the country.
He said the youth will be trained on how to use the bricks to build since it has a long span when use in building.
Professor Daniel.A.Ofori Director of CSIR forestry research Institute of Ghana also said that, the purpose of the training will base of bricks making and this will create employment for the youth and they will use the local materials in molding the bricks.
