Aspiring assembly member for Obuase Gyidim organizes free health screening and clean-up exercises for his community

The aspiring Assemblyman for Obuase – Gyidim in Ashanti Akyem north district of the Ashanti region Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Asare commonly known as Akyemkwaa Nana of Wontumi Radio has organized a free health screening and clean-up exercise for members of the community.

The exercise was aimed at improving the health conditions of the people so they would remain productive to enhance the development of the area.

The people cannot help accelerate the growth of the area if their health conditions are not good, and health is wealth, he said, adding that quality health was essential for the progress of every community.

Akyemkwaa Nana indicated that most of the residents were suffering from some sickness because they were unconcerned about their health conditions, urging the people to take their health issues seriously.

The aspiring assemblyman called on the people especially the youth to adopt a healthy lifestyle and avoid indulging in acts that tended to jeopardize their health.

Mr Asare together with the residents swept the streets, cleaned choked gutters, and weeded the surroundings.

He, therefore, appealed to the people in the area to rekindle their communal spirit and undertake regular clean-up exercises in their communities and charged them to join hands and make their electoral area clean.

He pleaded with the community to vote for him to win the assemblymembers’ elections coming on the 19th of December 2024 to bring unity and progress to the community.

Mr Kofi Asare was also grateful to the environmental officers, zoomlion, and Alberto Herbal Clinic for making the current exercise successful.
