Chieftancy disputes; Manhyia palace hit by another petition from Offinso Concerned Youth to consider the former GNPC Boss to succeed Nana Wiafe Akenten II as Offinso Manhene
The Concerned Youth of Offinso traditional area is appealing to His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to consider the former GNPC Boss, Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong to succeed his uncle who has gone to village.
According to the youth, the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko and former GNPC Boss, is a true Royal from the family and has demonstrated himself that he could outdo and hand- to-hand deliver looking at his credentials.
The youth group hit Manhyia by another appealed that, the so called “abosomnnom” dispute had been resolved long ago and have shown the judgement from the Manhyia palace dated 1993.
The youth in another petition to Otumfuor Osei Tutu II to disregard a rumours saying the Queen mother, Nana Ama Serwaa Nyarkoh II of Offinso- Manhemaa is not a direct royal because they could prove reasonably beyond doubt with ali due respect that, she’s the one presented Nana Wiafe Akenten III Offinso Paramount who has gone to the village.
The group leader speaking in an interview with the media solemnly pleading to Manhyia to consider their request to bring Dr. K.K Sarpong to foster the development of the Offinso Traditional area.
