A renowned and a high profile Reverend has advice Ghanaians leaders of today to follow the steps of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was the first prime minister and president of the Republic of Ghana, having led the Gold Coast to independence from Britain in 1957. And influential advocate of Pan – Africanism, Dr. Nkrumah was a founding member of the organisation of African Unity and winner of the Lenin Peace Prize from the Soviet Union in 1962.

Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was born on 21st September, 1909 Nkroful. And because of the legacies the great former president left behind every September 21st Ghanaians celebrates him for his good works and memories as Pan-Africanist leader.

Our team went to Grace Gate Chapel which situated at Bremang Kontwima in the Ashanti region of Ghana and have one on one interview with the founder Reverend Newlove Kofi Eshun what he remembers about Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

According to Rev. Newlove Kofi Eshun he says that all though former president has pass on but because of his good leadership and legacies he left behind every time we remembers him in a positive way and if you choose as a leader put it in your mind that your serving your people. And always let their problems and issues be your top most priority and concerns.

Reverend again said when Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was on the throne as president of Ghana he creates plenty jobs for the country within short time. He builds Bonsa tiles factory. ” Because Osagyefo think beyond the box and what ever he does is for long term purposes. Rev. Newlove lamented.

Again Dr. Kwame builds Tarkwah gold refinery for Ghanaians to refines its own gold for other Nations should come and purchase some so that it will boost the Ghanaian economy. ” But today what do we see, is in deplorable state and now a days Ghanaians do refines its gold abroad and get small percentage from it, which is not helping the country in any circumstances” He explained.

He also builds Akosombo Dam that we are still enjoying it today.

Reverend Newlove continue that our current leaders should put politics aside and think beyond the future and the country should abide by the legacies Dr. Kwame Nkrumah left behind.

He further said every president on this earth is an ambassador for Christ so all their life styles should be holy and match with God almighty.
