The NBU Youth Empowerment Center has graduated 122 youth and set them up right for the job market

The NBU (No Business as Usual)Youth employment Center has graduated 122 youth in contribution to the drastic reduction of unemployment in Ghana.

The graduates were taking through the various disciplines of entrepreneurship, communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work well with other people and to even discover exactly what they want to do with their lifes.

According to the project coordinator for MBU Youth Empowerment Center Roberta Ayitey said that the journey of our quota towards the socio-economic and employment growth started over five years down the line where the Asokore Mampong municipality was the focus and has since shined out thousands of youth for the job market. ” We have widen our scope from the Asokore Mampong municipality to the entire Kumasi Metropolis in the next two years to reach out to more of the unemployed youth” she authored.

Roberta Ayitey told journalists that the reduction of unemployment in the country is a shared responsibility coupled with financial assistance and tools to sharpen and equipping trainees in acquiring soft and hard skills. ” The NBU Youth Empowerment Center have currently trained 122 youth in various disciplines of communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work well with other people and to even discover exactly what they want to do with their lives” She explained.

Roberta further said tackling unemployment issues in Ghana soft skills is enough to give young ones the encouragement they need to search for jobs. ” After being trained by the NBU Youth Empowerment Center we find jobs for them and make sure we are with them through out the entire process of job application and its fruitfulness” she lamented.

Roberta continue to say that the project which is currently based in Kumasi will expand its tentacles to other regions to cover a wider range of unemployed youth in the various regions where they will be provided with soft and hard skills. ” The provision of soft and hard skill training for the Ghanaian youth forms part of SOS village dreams to end unemployment” she said.

Roberta advice graduates to make a positive and meaningful impact on the Ghanaian economy as they have been set up right by the NBU Youth Empowerment Center. ” It is time to explore and give out the requisite skills you acquired to impact lifes” she said.
