2024 ELECTION: NDC MEMBERS URGED TO MAINTAIN UNITY FOR VICTORY

The National organizer for the National Democratic Congress, Joseph Yamin has urged his party members to maintain unity amongst themselves.
According to him, the only way the party can win the coming 2024 elections is for the members being united in diverse ways and not to be divided.
He made this known at an inauguration ceremony organized by the Afigya Kwabre Constituency to elect members of the communication team on 10th September.
“It is difficult to loose in 2024 than to win the elections. Ghanaians will never forgive us if we don’t win in 2024” he said.
He further added that constituencies will continue to organize programs to orient and motivate party executives to count to their victory.
For his side, the former deputy secretary for the National Democratic Congress, Peter Boamah Otokunor said there was a need to sue the electoral commission.
He said this following Electoral Commission’s decision to limit Voter registration.
According to him, the supreme Court is expected to put an injunction on the EC to stop them from commencing the limited Voters registration exercise which is expected to come off on 12th September 2023.
He also emphasized that the party would do its best to put the EC on toes.
“We will not sit and watch the EC flout the Constitution ”
He further added that the NDC is for Democracy and would strive for Democratic rule to be its peak.
The communication officer of the NDC for Afigya Kwabre South, Solomon Adomako also
reiterate the party’s move to sue the Electoral Commission.
He responded to a statement made by the former deputy secretary for the NDC.
“We will keep the Electoral Commission on its toes” he said.
He stressed that, the party is for democracy and would strive for Democratic rule to be at its peak.
