MR YAW ANIM COMMEND KUMAWUMAN
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament-elect for the Kumawu Constituency, Mr. Ernest Yaw Anim has expressed his gratitude to the people of kumawu for voting him into power to represent the constituency.
Addressing the media after the Electoral Commission (EC) declared him as the winner of the Kumawu by-election, Mr Anim said, the victory was because the people believed in his ability to bring development and growth to the constituency.
“This victory was for the whole Kumawu constituency and not just for him and the NPP” He added.
He emphasize that, the good people of the area has accepted me and believes I can unite and fight for the development of Kumawu.
He said his win shows that NPP can achieve anything with unity because of it good work done by the government.
According to him, the NPP had always delivered on its promises, the reason Ghanaians believe in the party to restore hope to the country.
Commenting on ongoing Kumawu town roads, He said the procurement processes of the construction of the road took off in 2022 and it was signed in this year.
He mentioned that early January this year, the late MP Hon Basoah make it known that by April ending the contractor will commence the work.
Adding that, it was not because of the impending by-election that the project was being undertaked.
He also expressed his appreciation to Nananom especially Omanhene of Kumawu Traditional Area, Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua for their support.
On his part the Constituency Chairman for Kumawu, Mr. Kwadwo Agyemang Prempeh also disclosed the policy NPP government brought including School feeding programme, Free Senior High School, and others which majority of Ghanaians have benefitted from it.
“These are the good measures the NPP has put in place to help Ghanaians and the Kumawu Constituency as a whole.
He also mentioned the construction of the Kumawu road we have all seen it, Kumawu Hospital which will be opening this year for the benefit of the people of Kumawu and it environment.
