Divine Empowerment Outreach Donates Desks To Domeabra D/A Primary School

Domeara D/A Primary School in the Ellembelle District, Western Region, has received a boost to its learning environment thanks to Divine Empowerment Outreach (DEO), an international NGO. The organization donated a batch of desks to the school, addressing a pressing furniture shortage that had forced pupils to sit on the floor during lessons.

Receiving the donation, Odikro Isaac Armah Nresa expressed the community’s heartfelt gratitude to DEO for their thoughtful gesture. “This is a major boost to education in our area,” he said, praising the organization for “remembering” the school despite being based abroad.
The school’s Assistant Headmaster, Mr. Mathias Kwaw echoed these sentiments, noting that the desks will significantly enhance teaching and learning at the school.
Speaking on behalf of DEO, Samuel Antwi encouraged pupils to take their education seriously and strive for excellence. He also urged teachers to continue guiding and supporting their students, helping them reach their full potential.
The donation is part of DEO’s ongoing efforts to support education and improve learning conditions in underserved Ghanaian communities.
The pupils were visibly thrilled with their new desks, promising to stay focused and make the most of this opportunity. One pupil was overheard saying, “Now we can write comfortably and pay attention in class!” The community hopes this gesture inspires other organizations to support rural schools.
