Philanthropist Kofi Job Donates GHs1 Million to Clear Medical Bills of 213 Patients in Kumasi

In a remarkable display of generosity, Ghanaian road construction contractor and philanthropist, Kofi Job, has donated GHs1 million to clear the medical bills of 213 patients in Kumasi. The donation, which was made under the umbrella of the Kofi Job Foundation, also covered the cost of repairing and purchasing health equipment for several hospitals in the area. The beneficiary institutions included the Kumasi South Hospital, Old Tafo Government Hospital, and the Manhyia District Hospital.
Kofi Job’s philanthropic efforts have brought relief to numerous patients who were struggling to pay their medical bills. During his visit to the hospitals, he paid the bills in cash directly to the management of each hospital, ensuring that the patients could receive the medical attention they needed without worrying about the cost. In addition to clearing the medical bills, Kofi Job also provided financial support to some of the hospitals to purchase prescribed drugs and other expenses.
At the Kumasi South Hospital, Kofi Job footed a bill of GHs 120,000 needed for chemotherapy and surgery of two children suffering from cancerous conditions. His generosity has been praised by the medical staff and patients, who are grateful for his kindness and compassion. Dr. Alimatu Salam, a Pediatrics Oncologist at the Kumasi South Hospital, thanked Kofi Job for his support, saying, “We really appreciate what he has done, and we pray that whatever he has contributed will be increased by God in a thousand fold.”
Kofi Job’s donation is a testament to his commitment to giving back to his community. As a successful businessman, he recognizes the importance of using his resources to make a positive impact on the lives of others. He believes that everyone has a role to play in supporting the vulnerable and that government alone cannot do it all. Therefore, he is calling on institutions and individuals to contribute to the well-being of those in need, no matter how small their resources may be.
The Kofi Job Foundation has been instrumental in providing support to various communities in Ghana, and this latest donation is just one example of the foundation’s efforts to make a difference in the lives of others. Kofi Job’s selfless act has inspired many, and his foundation will continue to be a beacon of hope for those who are struggling to access basic necessities like healthcare. As Kofi Job said, “I have realized that the cause of the number of deaths at our hospitals partly has to do with poverty. I’m so much saddened, and my prayer is that God should keep blessing me so that I can continue with my support to needy.”
