Ghana National Association of Tailors and Dressmakers Atimatim zone has graduated 22 Youth fashion designers
The chairman of Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association, Atimatim Zone Isaac Mensah has advise graduands to be transparent and straight with their clients as they set out to meet the job market.
According to him the tailoring and dressmaking work can be successful and productive when one applies discipline and hardworking. “As they set out to meet the job market I advise them to be serious and hardworking in their delivery in meeting the ethical and professional standards of fashion design and to be the one of the top most renowned fashion designers worldwide” He advise.
This was disclosed to the media on a sidelines of a graduation ceremony which took place at the Atimatim School Park where 22 Tailors and Dressmakers were graduated to meet the job market.
Chairman Isaac Mensah said the graduands having gone through three to four years intensive training in fashion designing and aquired the requisite communication skills to have a good customer relations.
“The graduands have been train to sow male and female outfits which will be presentable in all occasions. And are taught to have a good relationship and convincing spirit with their clients for a successful business” he authored.
Chairman Isaac Mensah further said the lives of these graduands can be impactful and successful if they are being led by the spirit of God in their transactions. ” Life can be meaningful and fruitful when as you set out there you invite the spirit of God to lead you in all your dealings” He lamented
The financial Secretary Peter Yaw Nkrumah added that their outfit is ready to teach people who are jobless in Atimatim and it’s environs in contributing to the employment growth in Ghana.
“We are poised to teach anyone who is ready to learn a trade for free because some us started the same way without any hope and believe this is a way or the other releasing some stress of unemployment from the government” he authored.
He appealed through the Central government to the (YEA) Youth Employment Agency to fast track the release of funds in complimenting their work. “We thank the YEA for their cooperations with Ghana National Association of Tailors and Dressmakers Atimatim zone and hoping that they grant our request of financial assistance which out of five (5) two(2) have been successful” He said.
