The Member of Parliament for Kwabre East Constituency, Hon. Akwasi Gyamfi Onyina-Acheampong, has extended support to newly admitted Senior High School (SHS) students in his constituency with cash and learning materials.

The MP presented items including exercise books, mathematical sets, school bags, mattresses, and an amount of money to cater for their prospectus and other needs, as the students transition from Junior High School (JHS) to SHS.
Addressing the students and parents at the presentation ceremony, Hon. Onyina-Acheampong congratulated the beneficiaries on their successful admission into SHS and encouraged them to take their education seriously. He stated that the entire leadership of the constituency including Nananom, parents, assembly members, and all stakeholders are solidly behind them and are keenly monitoring their academic journey to ensure they become profitable to the constituency, the region, and the nation at large.

He assured the students that the leadership of the constituency would continue to provide the necessary resources to support them throughout their education.
In a related development, the MP also called on the security agencies in the municipality, especially the Police and Immigration Services, to put the motorcycles and other logistics presented to them into effective use to protect lives and property.

He also urged the Fire Service, which received fire extinguishers, a printer, and a generator to support the lighting system at the Kenyasi Government Hospital, to ensure the equipment is well maintained and used for its intended purpose.
For his part, the Municipal Director of Education, Nana Adu Mensah Asare, who is also the Amakomhene and Otumfuo’s Brempon, cautioned parents to pay close attention to their wards and guide them to become responsible citizens in society, rather than neglecting them.

He further pledged to ensure that all equipment and logistics received for schools in the municipality would be properly maintained and used effectively.
Some of the beneficiary students, who received the items, expressed their profound gratitude to Hon. Onyina-Acheampong for the timely support, promising to study hard to justify the investment made in them.
