GABRIEL BEDIAKO APPIAH FILES NOMINATION FOR ASHANTI NPP DEPUTY REGIONAL SECRETARY
The contest for Ashanti Regional Deputy Secretary of the New Patriotic Party has gained momentum as Mr. Gabriel Bediako Appiah officially submitted his nomination forms on Thursday.
The filing took place at the office of former Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia in Asokwa, where the Elections Committee received nominations from aspirants across the region.
Addressing a gathering of supporters after filing, Mr. Appiah described the moment as the start of a new mission: to serve the party with dedication, hard work, and unity. He said he is offering the party Availability, Experience, and Affability, the 3 pillars he believes are needed to re-energize the party at the grassroots.
“Availability means being there for the polling station executives, constituency officers, and the ordinary party member. Experience means knowing the structures and how to get the work done. Affability means bringing people together, not dividing them,” he explained.
Mr. Appiah thanked his campaign team, supporters, and well-wishers for their sacrifices and belief in the vision. He pledged to work hand-in-hand with the next Regional Secretary and the entire executive to strengthen party administration and communication.
He noted that with 35 aspirants contesting various positions, this election is about the future of Ashanti NPP and the party’s goal of Victory 2028 and Beyond. He called for a campaign devoid of insults and factionalism.
“The delegates of Ashanti have a big responsibility. Let us choose leaders who will unite us, account to us, and help us break the 8. I am ready to serve,” he concluded.
