HON. MICHAEL AMOAH AWUKU CONTESTS ASHANTI NPP REGIONAL SECRETARY POSITION
Hon. Michael Amoah Awuku has filed his nomination to contest the position of Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, ahead of the party’s regional executive elections.
The former DCE and party stalwart submitted his forms as part of the 35 aspirants who filed to contest various positions, with vetting scheduled for Monday, July 20, 2026.
Speaking to supporters after filing, Hon. Awuku said the future of the party in Ashanti will be determined by the choices delegates make today. He called for leadership that prioritizes unity, accountability and results.
According to him, his campaign is anchored on three key pillars: Strengthening Unity across all 47 constituencies, Promoting Accountability in party administration, and Preparing Ashanti NPP to deliver a massive victory in the 2028 general elections.
“Hon. Michael Awuku brings experience, humility, and a servant heart to this race. Ashanti needs a Regional Secretary who listens, who serves, and who delivers for the grassroots,” a member of Team MAA stated.
Hon. Awuku pledged to work closely with constituency executives, polling station officers, and all stakeholders to build a formidable party structure that is responsive, transparent and election-ready.
He appealed to delegates to choose leadership that puts the party first. “Let us make the right choice today for the sake of our party and for Victory 2028 and Beyond,” he concluded.
