Atwima Nwabiagya South MCE Donates Food Items to Support Muslims During Ramadan

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Assembly, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, has donated assorted food items to Muslim communities within the municipality to support them in the observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

The donation forms part of efforts to assist Muslim faithful as they undertake the annual period of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection, which began earlier this month.

Items presented included bags of rice, cooking oil, Milo, sugar, and other essential food supplies aimed at easing the burden on families during the fasting period.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Boamah noted that Ramadan is a sacred season that requires sacrifice and devotion, and it is important for leadership to show solidarity with the Muslim community.

According to him, the gesture is intended to encourage and support Muslims as they dedicate the month to prayer and seek blessings for the municipality and the nation as a whole.

“This support is to stand with our Muslim brothers and sisters during this important spiritual exercise. We believe their prayers during this period are crucial for peace, unity, and development,” he stated.

Leaders of the Muslim communities expressed appreciation to the MCE for the timely intervention, describing it as a demonstration of inclusive leadership and religious harmony within the municipality.

The donation is expected to provide relief to several households and strengthen the spirit of unity among residents.
