AMANSIE RURAL BANK PLC CELEBRATES 40 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

Amansie Rural Bank PLC has marked a major milestone, successfully convening its 40th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and anniversary celebration at the Amansie Community Centre in Manso Antoakrom. The event was attended by dignitaries, including CEOs of sister rural banks, traditional leaders, staff, and shareholders.
Board Chairman, Ben Kwaakye Adeefe Esq., praised the team’s efforts, noting a remarkable 300% improvement in key performance indicators. He commended the dedication and hard work of the Board, management, and staff, which has led to the bank’s growth and success.
CEO, Mr. Frederick Kwakye Kyei, described the event as a “complete success,” praising the smooth execution of both the AGM and anniversary activities. He attributed the bank’s growth to the dedication of the Board, management, and staff, saying, “This growth is the result of the dedication of our Board, management, and staff.” Mr. Kyei urged shareholders to increase their shareholdings to benefit from higher annual dividends and to collect dividends promptly, warning that unclaimed dividends after 60 days would be used to purchase additional shares on their behalf.
The bank reported a pre-tax profit of GH¢36 million for the year ended December 31, 2024, reflecting a 300% improvement in key performance metrics. The Bank of Ghana has approved the bank’s dividend, a testament to its financial strength and stability.
The bank highlighted its thriving Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which includes:
– Full construction of the Amansie Community Centre
– Renovation of a 6-unit classroom block at SDA Primary, Antoakrom
– Upgrades to Antoakrom Maternity Block and other health facilities
– Support for pensioners’ meeting hall project
– Renovation of Science Lab at Mansoman Senior High School (ongoing)
-Re-launch of Amansie Scholarship Scheme in 2025
