Moshie Zongo Celebrates Chief Janda’s Anniversary, Calls for Community Development
Moshie Zongo’s vibrant streets were filled with energy as Chief Alhaji Amadu Ibrahim Janda marked his 10th anniversary as Chief. The grand durbar was a testament to his dedication and the community’s appreciation.
The celebration showcased the Moshie Zongo Development Fund’s initiatives in education and social welfare. These efforts included providing apprenticeships in seamstress and carpentry, as well as support for street kids.
Municipal Chief Executive for Old Tafo, Mr. Abubakar Sadiq, praised Chief Janda’s leadership and called for the establishment of a rehabilitation center to address substance abuse in the community.
Chief Janda urged parents to instill good moral values in their children, emphasizing the importance of love and guidance. “We must guide our children with love and fervent prayers, rather than curses,” he said.
