Tragic Helicopter Crash Claims Lives of Two Ministers
A devastating military helicopter crash in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region on August 6 has claimed the lives of Minister for Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, and Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed. The helicopter, a Ghana Armed Forces Z-9, was carrying eight individuals, including the two ministers, a presidential staffer, and security personnel, when it went off radar en route to Obuasi.
