Dr Bawumia promises free tertiary for Persons With Disabilities
The vice president and presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has promised to offer scholarship scheme for Persons with Disabilities to enjoy free tertiary education.
Dr Mahamadu Bawumia explicate that his administration will see to it that job vacancies will be also reserved for the PWDs after the free tertiary education.
Dr Bawumia made this promise on his third day tour at Agona palace in Afigya Sekyere East constituency of the Ashanti as part of his 15 days tour.
Dr Bawumia indicated that, the most of the Persons With Disabilities have great potential to the transformation of the country, hence, they should be giving needed and equal attention.
Dr. Bawumia further outlined his commitment to improve the railway sector in the country. According him president Akufo Addo has done significantly in the railway sector but he will continue to expand the it to facilitate easily movement of goods in the country.
