NDC next Gov’t will construct a strong bridge over River Offin for the people of Kotokum to enhance transportation – Sammy Gyamfi promised to

The National Communication Director of the NDC, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, has promised the good people of Kotokuom, Nyinawusu, Kwanfifine, Saakrom, Manukrom, Akonkye and other communities to construct a strong bridge to makes the daily activities smoothly for them.

There is a deathtrap bridge between Kotokuom and Nyinawusu.

He urged the electorate to vote massively to John Mahama and Parliamentary Candidate Stephen Yeboah coming 7th December elections.

The river Offin bridge has been denger over 5 years and complaining over to appropriate quarters, but the DCE, Isaac Kofi Marfo, turned their back to them.

“Voting for NDC is a vote to release them from deathtrap.

He said this when he had a community engagement at Kwanfifini in the Atwima Mponua constituency.

Kotokuom Offin River Bridge has been dilapidated over the past 4 years.

The residents in a series of press conferences have expressed worry about the poor nature of the only bridge linking several communities in the area.

They said the current DCE, Hon. Isaac Kofi Marfo has failed to heed to their calls despite outgoing MP, Hon. Isaac Asiamah tried his effort.

A conversation with some drivers saying the current state of the bridge is impeding their businesses.

They said heavy-duty vehicles would not be allowed to ply the road lest a tragedy occurs.
