Ongoing debate of having foreign passport better than Ghana PhD is due to Ghana economic crisis -Mahama

Former president Mahama has attributed the comparison of obtaining foreign passport and having PhD in Ghana debate to the mismanagement of the economy by Nana Akufo Addo administration.

Former president Mahama indicated that obtaining PhD is very significant in everyone’s life in Ghana Education sector but since our current leaders are corrupt, resulting the ongoing debate on social media.

Delivering a speech at Christian service University in Kumasi as part of the school 50th anniversary, the NDC flagbearer emphasized that such social media debate is reflection of adversity of the current state of the economy.

Indicating that there is no basis for such comparison had it not been the hardship in the country.

He underlined that learning and education is the important resource every human being need but due to bad economy of the NPP living in the country is not interesting anymore for the unemployed youth.
