Dr Bawumia promises establishment of three herbal facilities in Ghana

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has promised to establish three herbal facilities in the country should he become the next president.

According Dr Bawumia the centers will located in Northern, Middle and Southern zones in the country to facilitate the activities of the herbal practitioners.

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party made this pledge during his engagements with the farmers and Herbal association as part of his day 2 tour in Ashanti region.

Dr Bawumia further promised of providing research funding for the herbal doctors to mitigate the cost of their research. His promise was in respond to challenges the herbal manufacturers wanted Dr Bawumia to address when become president.

He mentioned that, the research funding will also facilitate the certification process of the herbal manufacturers.

Dr Bawumia indicated that, certified FDA herbal products and clinics will also be enrolled on NHIS.
