BECE students in Sekyere East District urged to face 2023 exams with confidence

The Deputy Director for Supervision at Effiduase Education Directorate Mr Frank Opoku has encouraged the BECE final year students in Sekyere East District of the Ashanti region to face their 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) with much confidence and discipline to come out victoriously.
The students have been reminded that their future is in their hands. He noted that their performance at the exams would determine the next level in their academic journey.
Speaking at the 4th edition of the 2023 JHS inter-school quiz competition organised by Nana Susubribi Krobea Asante, paramount chief of Asante Asokore, in the area Mr Frank Opoku
was confident that the candidates would make the school, their parents, and themselves very proud given the quality of tuition they have received.
He made this on behalf of the Ghana Education Service Director in the District at the program. Mr. Opoku cautioned them to stay away from any examination malpractice and any activities that can endanger their chances to pass the exams to senior high school.
He stated that examination malpractices such as the use of foreign materials and copying from other candidates which he said can jeopardize their future.
The CEO of SKB foundation Mr Andrews Gyimah Minka stated that since they started the quiz competition for the students their results after the BECE exams have been encouraging.
He remarked that, earlier they were organizing the exams for the students in Asokore only, but due to the positive results, it was extended to cover all the BECE students in the district this year.
Mr. Andrews Gyimah Minka reiterated the need for the students to learn hard and desist from malpractice

Effiduase Methodist JHS 1st Position
At the end of the contest Effiduase Methodist JHS emerged as winner followed by Asokore Trinity JHS and Effiduase JHS held the 3rd position.
