Alan Cash Promises Teacher and Nursing training college for Konongo
The presidential candidate aspirant for the New Patriotic Party and former Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten has promised to build Teacher and Nursing Training College for Konongo Township if he becomes the next president of Ghana.
According to Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, there have been government projects that have been done in Konongo by President Akufo Addo’s administration but it Konongo and Asante Akyem enclaves need more.
The former trade Minister made this promise when he paid a courtesy call to Konongo Manhene Nana Awuah Abedimisa II to officially inform the chief about his interest to contest for the flagbearer race during his tour of the three constituencies in the area to have engagement with NPP delegates in the various constituencies.
Speaking at the Konongo palace, Hon Alan emphasized that, though the government has commissioned developmental projects in the town, since it is not sufficient He will make sure that Konongo will benefit more under his tenure as Ghana president.
Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng is on a six-day tour in the Ashanti region, to interact with the delegates ahead of the party flagbearer election which comes off in November this year.
The former Trade Minister highlighted that, He will make sure all the roads in the area will be in good shape during his time if President Nana Akufo Addo fails to complete all due to time constraints.
Konongo manhene, Nana Awuah Abedimisa II, prayed for Hon Alan Cash for his dream to come true. He was confident that because of his hard work in the party over the decade, the NPP delegates will select him as the best candidate to lead the party.
Nana Awuah Abedimisah indicated that since Hon Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng is a native of Asante Akyem, he is convinced that all the promises He has made will be materialized when He becomes the country’s next president.
Hon Alan Cash during his tour in the area met delegates from Asante Akyem North, Central, and South as part of his six day tour of the region where he explained His vision to them when they select him as the next flagbearer.
The former Trade Minsiter on day one of his tour visited the Ejisu constituency, Juaben, and as well as Kumawu and had an engagement with the delegates in the constituencies ahead of the party election.
