KINGSLEY BONSU-KYERETWIE FILES, PROMISES DATA-DRIVEN GRASSROOTS REFORMS FOR ASHANTI NPP
Aspirant for a key regional executive position, Lawyer Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie, popularly known as KBK, has pledged to roll out data-driven reforms to strengthen grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Speaking after filing his nomination, KBK said the Ashanti Region, as the NPP’s biggest stronghold, must lead by example in organization, record-keeping and party unity.
According to him, “We need a credible and up-to-date party register. When our data are right, our planning, mobilization, and targeting become more effective.”
He outlined his campaign on three pillars: Data Accuracy, Grassroots Mobilisation, and Party Unity. He stressed that making the base feel valued, informed and involved is critical to “bringing back the elephant into power.”
KBK cited his years of service to the party through youth engagement, TESCON, and direct support to individuals as proof of his commitment and understanding of the grassroots.
Expressing optimism ahead of the internal elections, he said: “I’m confident of securing a strong mandate from delegates. I’m targeting 70%.”
He concluded that beyond the contest, unity must be the priority. “We must contest fiercely but come together immediately after to work for our common goal, NPP in Ashanti and NPP in government.”
