Northern NPP Youth Group Rallies Behind Justin Kodua, Slams Challenger Motives

Abdulai Abdul Jalil Opele, President of the Northern NPP Concerned Youth Group, has urged New Patriotic Party delegates to re-elect Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong as General Secretary, accusing his challengers of acting against the party’s interest.

In a statement, Opele said those opposing Kodua know he has superior administrative capability but are driven by personal dislike rather than party loyalty. He argued that publicly recognizing Kodua’s competence while working against him exposes insincerity.

Opele called on constituency executives to ignore what he described as “selfish motives” and back Kodua, reminding them that polling station executives elected them to advance committed party builders to the national level.

With the NPP currently in opposition, Opele stressed the need for experienced hands like Kodua in key national positions. “If the party’s interests are prioritized over individual agendas, Justin Kodua Frimpong’s expertise in secretarial duties would be unmatched within the New Patriotic Party,” he said.
