SHS Teacher and Form Three Student Clash Over Alleged Unpaid Hostel Fees

A dispute over outstanding hostel fees reportedly led to a confrontation between a Senior High School teacher and a female Form Three student.

The teacher, who also serves as the hostel caretaker, was allegedly demanding payment of arrears from the student and some colleagues when the situation escalated into a heated altercation.

In a video circulating online, one student can be heard expressing frustration over what she described as repeated confrontations about the unpaid fees. Other students in the background were heard suggesting that the affected Form Three students be removed from the hostel if necessary, rather than continue facing disputes over the payments.

It remains unclear what specifically triggered the physical confrontation.

School authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the incident.
