Chairman COKA Calls on Christians to Embody Humility and Courage

The Aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Chairman COKA, has urged Christians to serve humanity with humility and courage, regardless of their societal positions. Speaking on Palm Sunday at Miracle Gospel Church in Adako Jachie, he emphasized that true Christian leadership is rooted in humility.

Chairman COKA noted that Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, commemorated on Palm Sunday, serves as a powerful reminder of humility and sacrifice. Despite being King and God, Christ chose to live among humanity as a servant, demonstrating a life of peace and obedience without seeking earthly recognition.

He explained that Christ’s kingship was based on His influence in people’s hearts, having delivered mankind from sin, death, and the devil’s power, and offering eternal life. His entry into Jerusalem on a donkey symbolized peace and humility, virtues Christians must emulate.

If Ghana’s Christians genuinely practised Christ-like values, the nation would experience significant transformation. Ghana is richly blessed with natural and human resources, and citizens must live faithfully and uprightly to benefit from these blessings.

Chairman COKA encouraged passionate Christians to remain steadward and courageous despite criticism and opposition. Trust in God and persevere, drawing inspiration from Christ’s bold entry into Jerusalem.

He reiterated Palm Sunday’s significance on the Christian calendar, describing it as the beginning of a defining moment in Christ’s life and a symbol of victory, humility, and unwavering faith.

Christians must dedicate themselves to serving others selflessly, regardless of position or status. True leadership is about influencing others with humility and courage.

Ghana’s blessings are abundant, but citizens must live uprightly to benefit from them. Chairman COKA’s message emphasized the need for genuine Christian values.

Chairman COKA’s call to action urges Christians to embody humility and courage, just as Christ did, for a transformative impact on Ghana.
