Dawuhene Commissions Ultra-Modern Computer Lab to Boost ICT Skills

Nana Kofi Frimpong Ababio, the Ashanti Dawuhene and Otumfuo Brempong, has commissioned an ultra-modern computer laboratory at Dawu R/C Primary School. The lab, equipped with 18 desktop computers, aims to enhance computer literacy among students in the community.

The initiative is expected to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as students previously learned about computer parts without hands-on experience. The headteacher, Mr. Kwasi Osei Amanfo, expressed gratitude for the lab, highlighting its significance in promoting digital literacy in Dawu.

Notably, Nana Kofi Frimpong Ababio emphasized that providing computers for communities is the responsibility of the government and district, not the chiefs. He named the lab after his successor, Nana Kofi Frimpong 1, as a testament to his commitment to promoting education and digital literacy in the community.
