Relief tax on private schools* Chaddar asked government

Nana Kwame Bediako, The leader of the “New Force Movement” has asked government to give the private schools tax relief, since they were providing essential services in the building of the nations man power and economic base.
“This would enable the private schools complement the government goal of quality education and equal opportunity for the right to education for all Ghanaian children.
He made this known at a meeting with the members of the Ghana National Association of Private Schools GNAPS in the Afigya Kwabre North District.
“GNAPS has raised concerns regarding the licensing of teachers, and discriminatory practices such as the 30% Priority Placement system favouring public schools over private ones.
Responding to GNAPS concerns, Nana Kwame Bediako (Chadda) acknowledged the contribution of private schools to the national development and global education objectives.

Meanwhile the Ashanti Regional Secretary for the Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) Nicholas Banburi said, they will vote for any presidential candidate who will consider their decision in the near future
